Last week I had one of the highlights of my five years as a band director. I had the honor of serving as the guest clinician for the Middle Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association's All-Midstate 7th and 8th Grade Jazz Band. This ensemble consisted of some of the best middle school musicians in Tennessee. We rehearsed Thursday evening, all day Friday and concluded with a concert on Saturday! I absolutely had a blast and I hope to have other opportunities to share my passion for music in this capacity in the future!
